Pastor Wayne Cream

Elder Wayne Cream was born on 11 May 1957 in Camden, New Jersey to Mr. George Edward and Mrs. Evelyn Cream.  Elder Cream was educated in the Camden Public School system and is furthering his education at Park College and Charles H. Mason Bible College Institute.  He is married to Evangelist Lalita Cream and they have one daughter, Wayna C. Cream.  Elder Cream joined the United States Army on 30 September 1977 and served 22 years and retired with an Honorable Discharge for his dedicated and faithful service as a Sergeant Major in the Unite States Army on 30 June 1999.  He was awarded numerous medals for his outstanding military service which include the

Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal (2nd Award), Army Commendation Medial (5th Award), Army Achievement Medal (2nd Award), Army Good Conduct Medal (7th Award) and many other significant badges and citations.

Elder Cream received Christ as Savior and Lord in September 1987 under the leadership of the now Bishop Juan Lawson at Holy Light COGIC in El Paso, Texas.  While at Holy Light COGIC Elder Cream served in the brotherhood, and participated in the choir, usher board and was appointed as a Junior Deacon.  Upon relocation in November 1988 to Garlstadt, Germany, Elder Cream joined the Greater North COGIC, under the leadership of Superintendent Clarence Williams where he was appointed as a Deacon.  Elder Cream was a singer in the choir, headed the transportation service, served on the finance committee and was appointed President of the YPWW.

 In November 1990, Elder Cream was called into the ministry while under the leadership of Elder Lorenzo Robinson at Greater North COGIC.  Elder Cream accepted his call to the gospel ministry and preached his initial message entitled “You Must Be Born Again” from St. John 3 Chapter.  In September 1991, he returned to the United States and joined Life Line Temple COGIC at Fort Knox, Kentucky under the leadership of Superintendent Willie Jones.  While there he served on the ministerial board, in the brotherhood and preached the gospel when called upon.  In June 1994, his relocation took him to Fort Hood, Texas where he served under the leadership of Elder Alexander at New Jerusalem COGIC.  While there Elder Cream served on the finance committee and was appointed Sunday School Superintendent, President of the Brotherhood, Sunday School Teacher, YPWW Teacher and Substitute Teacher for the Prayer and Bible Band.

 In May 1997, Elder Cream relocated to Fort Belvoir, Virginia, where he fellowship with Faith Holy Temple COGIC in Camden, New Jersey under the leadership of Superintendent Shelton Neal.  Elder Cream later joined Gethsemane COGIC in Alexandria, Virginia under the leadership of Superintendent Lloyd C. Coles Jr., where he served as the adult Sunday School Teacher and as the Pastor’s Adjutant.  By the authority of the Lord God Almighty in June 2002, Elder Cream was called to organize and Pastor Holy Mount Zion Temple of Deliverance COGIC in Alexander, Virginia where he prepared the ground work for starting a church.  In March 2006, Bishop Ted Thomas, Sr., Jurisdictional Prelate of Virginia appointed Pastor Cream as his Episcopal Adjutant.  In March 2007, the Lord called Elder Cream to relocate to Fredericksburg, Virginia to start the work of the ministry.  On 24 May 2007, the Prelate of Virginia Bishop Ted Thomas incorporated and dedicated Holy Mount Zion Temple of Deliverance into the denomination of the Church of God in Christ, INC.  This Resolution was accepted and incorporated by the Right Reverend Bishop Ted Thomas Sr. 

David boldly proclaimed in Psalms 119:11 “Thy word have I hid in mine heart.”  Pastor Cream has been given an awesome gift of God, for he has the Word, not only hidden in his heart, but the book (BIBLE) is stored in his memory.  If you were to listen carefully, you will hear him define both his relationship with God and his name……………….
